2019 SOBEWFF Lunch hosted by Alex Guarnaschelli and Gilles Épié

It’s no secret that the rooftop restaurant Juvia Miami Beach is a place to see and be-seen for both locals and visitors alike. For this midday affair during the Festival, guests will enjoy the seemingly translucent glass walls offering a sprawling view of South Beach while the palate is satiated by a collaborative lunch from new Executive Chef Gilles Epié and Food Network personality and celebrated Chef Alex Guarnaschelli. These two culinary maestros share a background rooted in French cuisine, having collectively trained under the influences of renowned chefs like Daniel Boulud, Alain Ducasse and Guy Savoy. In addition to running the popular New York City hotspot Butter, Guarnaschelli is a Food Network Iron Chef known for her discerning feedback as a recurring judge on the hit primetime series Chopped. Epié is the youngest chef to be awarded a Michelin Star, and known for his restaurants Citrus Etoile, Miravile and La Petite Cour in Paris, as well as L’Orangerie in Los Angeles, CA before recently relocating to Miami. Together, these masterminds will guide diners through an expertly-crafted culinary journey during this collaborative Festival lunch accompanied by wines from the Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits portfolio.
