    Sunflower Greens

    These are wonderfully nutty. They have an almost roasted quality rolled up in a green that is also juicy and refreshing. While I am no health nut, this is the kind of ingredient that is great tossed with some roasted potatoes, other greens or roasted sunchokes. It can fit in anywhere you might toss some toasted nuts. I love it with broiled chicken or any poultry in particular. I have been know to drop a handful, seasoned only with some lemon juice, on some grilled fish with great results. I buy them at Windfall Farms at the Union Square Greenmarket but have seen them in supermarkets as well…
